Antitrust receives bid for purchase of KFC restaurants in Russia
MOSCOW, Mar 6 (PRIME) -- The Federal Antimonopoly Service has received an application from Izhevsk-based KFC franchisee Smart Service Nord for the purchase of part of KFC restaurants in Russia, controlled by Polish group of companies AmRest, the authority’s representative told PRIME on Monday.
“The Federal Antimonopoly Service has received an application from Smart Service Nord for the purchase of AmRest’s Russian business. The service will appraise the deal in terms of its influence on Russia’s public food services market in accordance with the procedure established by the law,” the person said.
